Our commitment
We aim to provide information in ways that are clear, respectful and usable. This includes attention to plain language, predictable page structure, keyboard access, readable contrast, meaningful headings, accessible forms and flexible communication options.
EduPsychedβs broader work is grounded in safety, wellbeing, participation and inclusion. We recognise that disabled, autistic, neurodivergent, nonspeaking, minimally speaking and otherwise communication-diverse people have the right to be safe, heard, respected and supported.
Accessibility standard we work toward
We are working toward alignment with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, commonly known as WCAG, at Level AA where practical for our website pages and public-facing digital resources.
Some parts of the site may be updated progressively as pages, forms and downloadable resources are reviewed or rebuilt.
What we try to provide
- Clear headings, short sections and logical reading order.
- Keyboard-focus styles for links, buttons and form fields.
- Responsive layouts that work across phones, tablets and desktop screens.
- Reduced-motion support for people who prefer less animation or visual movement.
- Plain-language explanations wherever possible.
- Alternative access pathways, including email support for people who cannot complete a web form.
Accessible resources and formats
For selected resources, including toolkit materials, EduPsyched may provide or work toward formats such as:
- Easy Read or simplified versions.
- Screen-reader friendly versions.
- Symbol-supported versions.
- Auslan script planning or Auslan-ready transcript support where available.
- Printable versions for people who prefer paper-based supports.
Need a different format? Email info@psyched.education and tell us what you need. You do not need to use formal language.
Known limitations
We are a small organisation and some older pages, embedded tools, third-party services, files or linked resources may not yet meet the level of accessibility we are working toward. Some forms or downloads may also depend on external platforms outside our direct control.
Where we become aware of an access barrier, we will try to provide a reasonable alternative pathway and prioritise fixes for pages or resources that affect essential access.
Tell us about an access barrier
If you find something difficult to use, read, navigate or submit, please contact us. Helpful details include the page link, what you were trying to do, what happened, and what access format or support would help.
We aim to respond respectfully and practically. If we cannot fix something immediately, we will try to explain the limitation and offer another way to access the information or resource.
Review of this statement
This accessibility statement should be reviewed when major website pages, forms or downloadable resources are updated.
